Highlights of Turkey Tour (7 days 6 Nights)
Day 1 (Arrival to Istanbul)
After your arrival to Istanbul Ataturk Airport, we will meet you in front of the exit gate at the international terminal; with a sign bearing your name and transfer you to your hotel in Old City area (Sultanahmet). You will have free time in the afternoon depending on your arrival time. It is possible to include some tours on this day if you are arriving in the morning. Overnight accommodation in Sultanahmet.
Day 2 (Regular Istanbul Tour, breakfast and lunch included)
The tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel after your breakfast at around 08:30am. You will visit the famous Topkapi Palace; the main residence for the Ottoman Sultans between 15th and 19th centuries, with its jewel encrusted treasury and the famous Harem (It is possible to visit Harem Section with an extra 15 TL per person).
The next stops before lunch will be The Basilica Cistern which has 336 marble columns and the Roman Hippodrome which was once the center of Istanbul's political life. After having lunch, you will respectively visit Hagia Sophia Museum, Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Mosque), Million stone, Tomb of Sultan Mahmud and ancient Ottoman cemetery, Cemberlitas (Columnof Constantine) and Grand Bazaar. The tour will end around 4:30pm with free time in Grand Bazaar which is very close to almost all the hotels in Sultanahmet area and the guide will show you the directions on how to get to your hotel. Day 3 (Regular Cappadocia Tour, breakfast and lunch included)
With an early pick-up from your hotel around 05:00am , we will transfer you to Ataturk Airport and have the flight to Cappadocia. Our driver will meet you at the airport and drive you to your hotel for the breakfast. After having the breakfast, you will start touring in magical Cappadocia. The tour will start at 09:30 with the most important place in Cappadocia Region: Goreme Open Air Museum. The museum is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. You will see the best-preserved rock-cut churches in the area. The next visit will be in Cavusin where there were Greek and Turkish people living together until 1924. You will see an old Greek and Turkish Village which was inhabited until 1950's and then moved by the government to a new place because of the falling rocks from the village. We will visit Pasabag (Monks Valley) which is also known as mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys. The fairy-chimneys in Pasabag are the best-protected ones in the area and it gives the best idea about the formation of a fairy-chimney.
We will have our lunch at a local restaurant in Avanos. After lunch, we will have the kick-wheel pottery demo which is an art for about 4000 years. Starting with the Hittites, this art became the most important cultural heritage of the town. The next stop will be Kaymakli Underground City after driving about 30 minutes which is one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Cappadocia. After experiencing the life in underground, we will drive you to Pigeon Valley to see Uchisar Castle and the valley from a panoramic point. The tour will end around 5:00pm and we will drive you back to your hotel. Overnight accommodation in Goreme.
Day 4 (Regular Cappadocia Tour, breakfast and lunch included)
We will pick you up at 09:30 with the pick-up from your hotel. We will first drive to Goreme Panorama Point to see the valleys of Cappadocia and our guide will give you information about the history and geography of the region. The next visit will be the Guzelyurt Village. It was the biggest Greek Village in Cappadocia and we will visit the oldest church in Cappadocia from 4th century: St. Gregory Church. We will also visit a small underground city there. We will then visit one of the most spectacular canyons in Turkey: Ihlara Gorge. 3 km hike will be one of the highlights of our tour. We will hike through the canyon for about 1 hour along the river, passing Byzantine rock-cut churches decorated with frescoes. We end the hiking portion of the tour near Belisirma village, where we will have lunch in a quaint riverside restaurant.
After lunch, we will drive to the biggest rock-cut monastery complex of Cappadocia; Selime Monastery and Cathedral. Selime is the biggest rock-cut cathedral of Cappadocia and located at the end of Ihlara Valley. The final visit will be to Nar Crater Lake which offers a perfect photo chance and then we will drive you back to your hotel around 5:00pm. Overnight accommodation at the hotel.
Day 5 (Flight to Ephesus, free day at leisure)
We will pick you up two hours before the flight and take you to Kayseri Airport. You will have a direct* flight to Izmir Airport. Our driver will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Selcuk. You will have a free day at leisure today. You can visit St. John Basilica on this day which is going to be very close to your hotel. Overnight accommodation in Selcuk.
Day 6 (Regular Ephesus Tour - Flight to Istanbul, breakfast and lunch included)
With a pick-up from your hotel at 09:30, you will take a tour of Ephesus Ancient City which is the largest and the best ancient city in Turkey. The tour will take around 3 hours and you will get to see the famous Celsius Library, Hadrian Temple, The Terrace Houses (it has an extra 15 TL admission fee) and The Theatre. You will also see the first advertisement activity in the world in Ephesus Ancient City. After the visit, you will the lunch. We will then visit The Virgin Mary House which has been declared as a pilgrimage place in 1967 by the Pope. The tour will end around 4:00pm and then we will take you to Izmir airport for your flight to Istanbul. We will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Old City area.
Overnight accommodation in Sultanahmet.
Day 7 (Transfer to airport for flight back home)
On your last day in Turkey, you will have free day for your leisure until the transfer time to the airport. We will then drive to Ataturk Airport for your flight back to your country.
* Direct Flights to Izmir may not be available in winter or the flight might be in the afternoons. We will offer connecting flight options in those cases.

How to Complete a Booking with Our Agency
When you email us regarding the tour, we will send you an itinerary based on the actual “real-time” availability and the rate information we are receiving from hotels and airlines. Until your deposit is received through our secure form, the rate and availability of the hotels and flights might change. When we confirm your reservation; all rates, hotels and flights are guaranteed. As we are using several outside vendors, if any arrangements in your itinerary has to be changed after confirmation, we will definitely contact you and offer a suitable alternative that you confirm as well. This is usually the case with flight bookings – as sometimes the airline may change flight times or routes expecially on advance bookings.
When you agreed the itinerary with our travel agent, we will request a 30% deposit to confirm all your reservations. We have 128bit SSL secure form that you can safely send your credit card details at www.turkey-trip.com/secure.php Once we receive your deposit , we will confirm all the details of your itinerary and email you the travel voucher within 3-5 business days with your flight tickets and other details. The balance due can be paid at any time before to arrival – or you can pay when you are in Cappadocia during your travels in our agency office which is located quite central in Goreme. In our office we accept all major currencies for cash payments, as well as Visa, MasterCard and AMEX.
To confirm this itinerary, we will also need your international flight details to arrange the pick-up/drop-off services and your full names as per your passports to get the flight tickets.
General Guideline for Cancellation
Here is the general guideline for our cancellation policy if your agent does not mention otherwise:
Cancellation Policy for Hotel accommodations:
If you cancel 14 days before check-in date, there is no cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 14 to 7 days , there will be a cancellation penalty of 1 night accommodation.
If you cancel between 7 days to 24 hours, the full amount of the hotel will be charged.
There will not be any refunds on "no shows" for the hotel accommodations.
Cancellation Policy for Flight Tickets:
If you cancel the tickets 1 month before departure, only 15 Euro will be charged.
If you cancel within 1 month to 1 week time before departure, 40% of the total cost will be charged.
We cannot give any refund on no-shows for flight tickets.
Promotional fares offered by airlines are non-refundable, non-changeable.
Cancellation Policy for Tours and Airport Transfers:
If you cancel 48 hours before the tour or airport transfer, there is no cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 48 hours to 24 hours before the tour or airport transfer, we will charge 50% cancellation fee.
If you cancel within 24 hours of tour or airport transfer , we will charge the full amount as cancellation fee.
We cannot give any refund on no-shows for tours or airport transfers.
